The high season in Sochi Park started with a bright premiere of the Kazan State Circus
On May 1, the Sochi Park hosted the triumphant premiere of the large-scale circus production "Code of Unreality," created specifically for the theme park by the Kazan Circus team with the participation of artists from the legendary Nikulin Circus.
The unique performance combined traditional Russian fairy-tale motifs with the classics of circus art. The audience witnessed the aerial gymnasts on straps in the characters of Ruslan and Lyudmila, the acrobats-robbers on the track, the clowns-skomorokhs, the equilibrist Koschei the Immortal, the trained parrots under the guidance of the overseas prince, Baba Yaga, who skillfully juggled, as well as mesmerizing choreographic performances with spectacular sets.
The production was created by a team of leading industry professionals: the main director is Evgeny Shevtsov, a two-time winner of the Director of the Year award, the main choreographer is Olga Poltarak, a Thea Awards winner, the clown director is Andrey Sharnin, an Honored Artist, and the music was composed by Dmitry Kuznetsov, a Master Award winner in the category of Composer of the Year.
The guests' interest in the circus is confirmed by the fact that on the day of the premiere, there were no empty seats in the park's arena, which can accommodate over 1,600 spectators. At the end of the show, the audience of all ages stood up and applauded the performers.
The Circus extravaganza "Code of Non-Reality" will be held daily, seven days a week until August 30, 2026. Admission is included in the price of a single entrance ticket to Sochi Park, which allows guests to combine riding the rides with watching the spectacular circus program.
