More than 120 kg of waste was collected by Sochi Park employees at an eco-enterprise in Sirius

The team of volunteers included employees of Sochi Park, including fairy-tale heroes Baba Yaga and the Sea Princess, employees of the Natural Ornithological Park in the Imereti Lowland, as well as subscribers who joined the eco-enterprise after the announcement on the official social networks of the park. Activists put in order the lakeside territory of the Ornithological Park in Sirius, collecting 122 kg of plastic, glass and paper waste, as well as old car tires, hoses, cable braids. Everything found will be sent to scrap, the administration of the Ornithological Park has taken the initiative in this matter. The eco-event ended with the planting of a seedling of the evergreen cinnamon camphor.

Recall that since its foundation, our theme park has repeatedly proved itself as an active platform acting in the interests of ecology. Waste is divided in the service and entertainment areas, and urns for collecting batteries and accumulators are installed in the park and the Bogatyr Castle hotel. In addition, Sochi Park JSC is one of the first companies in the resort to launch its own sorting workshop. This is an important environmental project aimed at minimizing waste entering landfills. In 2023 alone, thanks to the workshop, more than 54 tons of cardboard, plastic and film, 100 kg of aluminum, 1.3 tons of metal, and 297 tons of wood waste were sent for recycling.
